Production line speed system for food to go manufacturer

Simply Lunch, based in Croydon, UK is a long established supplier of sandwich and lunch food. 

With daily production targets to meet it is crucial that the speed of production is optimised. A PlantRun system is enabling the business to meet industry standard target speeds on four production lines.

The system monitors sandwich sealers and flow wrappers, monitoring run speed and counting products.

A large format TV at the end of the production line displays target and actual pack count, packs per minute and last hour and a real time trend of packs per minute over time.

All data is recorded and can be accessed over the internet on PCs, tablets and smart phones. A range of dashboards and reports allow easy analysis of production data.

A fully developed and tested system was supplied and installation was managed by Simply Lunch with remote support from PlantRun engineers.
