Food Production Monitoring System

Heck Food is an independent UK sausage and burger manufacturer and supplier to major supermarkets.

The company chose PlantRun for production performance monitoring and improvement for its new manufacturing plant at Kirklington, North Yorkshire.

The system automatically counts packs, pieces and weight of product coming off the end of four production lines.

Processed in real-time the production data is immediately available for reporting and analysis. All manufacturing downtime is calculated by the system including all those short stoppages that are impossible to capture manually.

As well as being accessed by PC, tablet or smartphone, Heck Food ordered Display Node hardware to enable information to be displayed on large screen TVs.
These displays inform staff in production and office areas and extra screens are planned to be installed in a visitor centre due to open next to the factory.
