Comfy Quilts have been manufacturing high quality duvets, pillows, cushions and bed linens for over 40 years. Founded in Milnrow, Lancashire in 1971 the business has grown steadily to become one of Europe’s leading home textile manufacturers for well known brand names including Silentnight and Jeff Banks

As part of an efficiency improvement initiative Comfy Quilts implemented a PlantRun system in 2012 to monitor production on four duvet quilt lines and three pillow lines at their site in Middleton, Manchester, UK. In the first few months after implementation the following benefits were reported;
