Print Packaging OEE System

Hovat is a print packaging company that specialises in packaging foils and "wraps" for butter, margarine and lard and sachets and pouches for the distribution of sugar, soup, tea, coffee and powdered milks.

Hovat products can be found in all major retail stores, hotels, restaurants and tourist outlets, from Tesco's to McDonalds, the Hilton to the British Museum.

As a result of a management push for improved production efficiency PlantRun was chosen to monitor eighteen assets for run time, metres produced and speed.

Assets include flexographic print presses - Mark Andy, Propheteer, K2, Arsoma, Flexotecnica, Uteco, Fasto, Titan as well as W+H bag machines, sheeter, embosser and Takstrip.

The system provides real time status of all assets, production KPI’s including OEE and slow speed running. Plantrun provides built in reporting and analysis tools as standard.
